While God did create every life with a purpose and with a special plan, we also know that abortion is not the unpardonable sin. But is God still angry with me if I aborted??
Forgiveness is Free
The Bible says everyone has fallen short, messed up, and sinned, but it’s the FREE gift of God that brings eternal life and salvation.1 This means it is possible to walk in freedom from any past bondage and sin and that God wants to be able to have that fellowship with us.
God Forgets
The Bible also says that God has cast our sin as far as the east is from the west.2 What does that mean?? It means that He’s removed our sins as far away from us as possible. Amazingly, He’s actually forgotten our sin! 3
How to Walk Free
In order to let God heal us from shame or embarrassment, we have to give Him permission! God loved you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for you, and rise again three days later, to give you eternal life and freedom. Once we know that, it’s easy to come to Him, telling Him, “You’re the director of my life.” Then He’s able to help you walk in that freedom. 4
